I have a hand held Samsung cell phone and have been unable to down load my photos to my computer. Is there a phone procedure I am missing or an H/P computer function needed ?

Here's what I have tried so far:
I've just connected the phone to the USB port in the computer with the Samsung provided cable.

Here's my brand/make/model:
I unfortunately do not know either . How do I access this info ?

Hi,

Thank you for choosing ExpertHelp LLC. I am trying to call you but there is no one answering. Please follow the steps provided below on how to transfer pictures from your phone to your computer.

  1. Connect the Samsung phone to the computer using the USB cable that came with the phone.
  2. Swipe your finger downward on the phone's Home screen to display the Notifications panel, and then tap the "USB Connection" alert.
  3. Tap "Media device (MTP)" to indicate that you want to transfer media files to a Windows computer.
  4. Swipe your mouse pointer to the bottom edge of your computer screen, and then click "Import."
  5. Select the Samsung phone from the list of available devices.
  6. Enter a name for the folder into which your photos will be imported, and then click "Import."

Hi Ramy,
Thanks for your replies.

Unfortunately, I've run into a family medical problem requiring some of my time, but will get back to you as soon as I've had a chance to follow your instructions

I'm a retired chap and not very teck conversent
so will probably have to do some surfing to initiate your instructions.
