Hi Melvyn,

You are not responding on the chat window.

Please try to reset the kindle by following the procedure below.

Press and hold down the power button for straight 20 secs until the kindle screen will turn off. Wait for 5 secs then press the power button again to turn it on. Wait for the kindle to boot up and check the issue again.

no I turned it on seemed to be ok them it just froze

-advised cx that kindle needs to be repaired
-kindle is already out of warranty and cx will just buy a new one.
-told cx that all he needs to do is to re-register his amazon account to the new kindle and all his books/music purchased will be uploaded back to the new kindle
