Ticket #44064 7/29/15 11:00AM CST

I've been following up on Relly's advice. Talked to a mechanic friend of mine who recommended Mad Hatter Muffler repair here in Pompano Bch. Fl. for a new catalytic converter. I talked with Tom there this morning and he said it was not the catalytic converter, the engine would have no power. He recommended I take the car to the dealer to see what is actually the problem. So I have an appointmentfor Aug. 5 for the local Subaru dealer to look at the car. I'm still willing to look at other options, in fact my friend recommended I disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes to clear the trouble code. Maybe Relly has thought it over and has additional info. for me?Thank you for following up. David Auger

Hello David

You may want to check on a local auto shop that has an OBD reader as well. If everything seems to be ok because of the replaced parts then it can be cleared or reset by an On Board Diagnostic tool.

Please keep me posted.

Thanks
