Hi Arlene,
I want to know if you're referring to your OS X version when you said 600 and 650?
Byron
Yes, OSX is what we have.
emphasized textByron, I have waited a long time to solve this problem, so I am in no hurry to get answers. I can wait to solve this problem. Thanks from Arlene
Arlene,
The minimum system requirement for the printer to work in Mac is at least OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard
May i know what is your exact OS X version.
Thanks,
Byron
Byron: Thanks for telling me about Snow Leopard. I downloaded Snow Leopard but am not sure I got all of the second part. Also, it is 10.5 and not 10,6.
Hi Arlene,
If you're running at OS X 10.5 Leopard and wants to install the HP4500 Envy printer. You must update your OS X to at least 10.6 Snow Leopard or up to meet it's requirement to be installed and activated.
You can purchase Snow Leopard disk through the Apple Store if you want to proceed in using the HP Envy printer.
Cheers,
Byron
If the system requirement is not met printer will not work.
Thanks, Byron, for your help. guess it's up to me to purchase the snow leopard software from the apple store. Your help is appreciated. Arlene
