I HAVE A MODEL RF4287HA REF. THE ICE MAKER HAS GOTTEN TURNED OFF AND I CAN NOT FIND THE INSTRUCTIONS TO TURN THE ICE MAKER BACK ON. HELP ME....

You didnt show up on the chat window.
The unit has two type of display.
Type 1
If you have this type of display then locate the cubed ice and crushed ice button then press and hold both buttons until you see Ice off lights up. Hold the buttons again to turn on the ice maker.
Type 2
If you have this type of display then locate the padlock icon that says Ice off. Touch the word ice off and release. Ice off icon should lit up. If its illuminated then it means its off. Press the button again to turn in the ice maker.

I tried the sample that you posted, but the ICE OFF lcon would not light up. Will try again in a little while and let you know.
try to unplug the unit from the main outlet for few minutes and try the procedure again..
