my smart tv is less than 1 year old. bought thru amazon. internet connection has been intermittent. router is 20 feet away. did the "clear all" icon y-day and now cannot get connection. have a lan line from router to tv- no connection. what do I need to do??

Here's what I have tried so far:
lan from router to tv.
occasionally get the entry box (router info, password etc.)

sony un40h5500

PHONE notes:
-tv cant connect via wired
-checked the settings of the tv and provided steps to reconnect the tv to the router
-tv can find the router though its wired already
-tried resetting the tv. no go
-advised cx to bring the laptop near the tv and check if she can get good wireless signal
-wirelss is good
-advisecd cx to reboot router and check if the tv can detect the router
-cx cant find the router
-told cx that the problem is the wireless module of the tv
-tv is still in warranty
-cx will talk to amazon and will file for repair or replacement.
