Can not find the coolant drain plug on my 2009 2wd L4-2.5L (2AR-FE) engine Rav 4. I found one possible bolt about 2 inches above the oil pan close to the oil filter looking from the front. This would be in the general location of where I have seen pictures of drains, but they seem to have a little spout to attach a hose, but not sure enough to loosen it. Also found a bolt with a star head that matches nothing that I have seen in any manual. Could you give me a location for the engine drain plug and what it should look like? Thank you

By the way Jerry, almost all the drain plugs looks like the picture below. Do you happen to see that on the bottom of the radiator? at the back when you are facing front. Please let me know when you see it

That's the drain plug Jerry. Rotate it counter clockwise to drain the coolant. Please make sure that the engine is cold before doing so to avoid injuries. This can be real tight and if you can't remove it by hands you can use a long nose pliers
