Hello Marty,

Are you trying to sync your Calendar from your your iMac to your iPhone?  If you are, there is a way to do that. In order to have a calendar that syncs across your devices, you must be logged into the same iCloud account. This will ensure that, just as with Reminders, everything you do on your Mac will appear on your iPhone.

If you are referring to a non apple phone please let me know so I can provide you with another solution just in case. I will be waiting for your response. Thank you.

Hello Marty,

Have you read my previous message below? I need to verify if you are using an iPhone or an Android device to be able for me to provide a good answer. Just in case you have an iPhone,  I have placed some instructions on how to sync your imac and your phone. Please follow the steps below to sync your calendar. If you’re not seeing your new calendars appear on your other devices, then you need to make sure everything is connected to the same iCloud account. You can check both of the preferences and settings and making sure that the appleid or email address on icloud is both the same on your iMac and iPhone.

If that isn’t the problem, then check your iCloud settings to ensure your calendars are set up to sync to iCloud.

A. ON YOUR IPHONE

1. On you iPhone or iPad, open the Settings, then tap open “iCloud”.

NOTE: Take note of the email address or appleid. This should be the same as on your imac.

2. Scroll through your iCloud settings and ensure “Calendars” is enabled.

B. ON YOUR IMAC

1. Open the System Preferences and then “iCloud”.

NOTE: Take note of the email address or appleid. This should be the same as on your iPhone. You can check it by clicking account details on your iMacs iCloud screen.

2. Same as on your iOS device, go through the various settings and make sure Calendars has a check next to it.

NOTE:

- Just in case your phone is not signed in to iCloud, just sign in using the appleid or the email address that you use on your iMac's calendar.

- If you have a different appleid or email address on the phone, just sign out and sign in with the correct email or appleid and follow the steps above in setting preferences.

That then is how you add, share, and sync calendars on your Mac and iOS devices. It works much like Reminders in that you can share with other people and sync across the entire range of your iCloud connected devices. The nice thing about having all your calendars connected, is that you don’t have to spend time replicating your efforts, such as creating the same calendars, events, etc. Moreover, when you share a calendar, you will then be able to keep everyone else in the loop.

We hope then that you found my answer useful and will be able to use it to keep your agenda more organized and effective. Just in case you are referring to a non apple phone like an android device, please let me know so I can provide you with another solution. But if you are already satisfied with the answer, please let me know by replying to this message. I will be waiting for your response. Thanks.
