Hello Bowles

How are you doing? I realized that it's too early to call so I will list down the common problems and preventive maintenance for this model. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you

1. Check Engine Light Due to Vacuum Leaks, Oxygen Sensor, or Catalytic Converter Fault
- Vacuum leaks, oxygen sensor failure, and catalytic converter efficiency faults can cause the Check Engine Light to illuminate.

2. Inspection of Water Pump and Timing Belt
- The water pump may fail resulting in engine overheating and possible timing belt damage. Overheating and/or timing belt failure can result in very expensive engine repairs. As a precaution, it is recommended to inspect the timing belt and water pump for leaks

3. Engine Oil Leaks
- Engine oil leaks are common from the valve cover gaskets and camshaft chain tensioner gasket.

6. Various Probelms Caused by Clogged Plenum Tray Drain
Clogged drains can allow rainwater to accumulate in the plenum tray (at the base of the windshield). The water may leak into the vehicle's interior, brake booster, or electrical components, which can lead to major problems.

7. Check Engine Light Due to Faulty Torque Converter
- A problem with the torque converter can cause the Check Engine Light to illuminate.

8. Multi-Link Suspension Components May Wear Prematurely
- Premature wear in various multi-link suspension components can cause noises that are difficult to diagnose. Worn suspension parts can also cause uneven tire wear and create steering alignment problems.

9. Oil leaks from camshaft drive pulleys and variable valve timing hydraulics
- Oil leaks from the camshaft drive pulleys and variable valve timing hydraulics are common. If the...

10. Use correct oil/filter to prevent sludge accumulation
To avoid sludge accumulation inside the engine, our technicians recommend using the proper oil and filter

11. Inspect CV Boots and Joints at Each Service
- Our technicians recommend having the constant velocity (CV) boots and CV joints inspected at each service. Servicing torn CV boots early can prevent the need to replace the CV half shaft or CV joint.

12. Flasher Relay Failure Can Cause Erratic Turn Signal Operation
- Erratic turn signal operation can be a result of a failing turn signal flasher relay which will require replacement.

Thank you
