I have a 2007 Vulcan Classic LT 900 with 65,000 miles on it. During hot weather (90's) at highway speeds, the engine will suddenly start cutting out usually during slight acceleration. It's almost like I'm flipping the kill switch on and off several times very quickly. No perceived backfiring. If I hold the throttle full open, the engine will smooth out for a few seconds, then as I let off of the throttle, the problem will start again. I commute 110 miles a day, so fuel is always fresh. This only happens during hot weather--there is never any problems during the morning commute or when temperatures are cooler. Recent oil change made no difference. I run premium fuel.
