Does this mean that I may have lost all of my apps? games, gems, coins, ......?

No you wont. We are just trying to reboot your Kindle.

If incase the Kindle is bad/faulty you can contact Amazon for replacement. The Apps and games are registered to your Amazon account and you can download them again once you have the replacement.

Please try first to turn it on while the charger is connect and let me know what happen.
