half my screen has black lines throught it

Are you watching a video from another device or are you watching a regular program from your cable network provider?

I just want to follow up on your issue on your Samsung LCD TV showing black lines on half of your screen. Please press the SOURCE button to switch inputs.

If the line has disappeared, there is no problem with the TV. The line is coming from the device that is connected to the TV.

If the line has not disappeared, then the problem is caused by the TV and it must be repaired. You can go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/request to create an online service request.
