Sorry for the late response. I was typing all the possible solution to fix the issue. What were checking now is if this is a software or a hardware issue on your Xbox. I need you to follow the steps below so that we cna determine the issue.

Clear your system cache

  • Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

  • Select Storage or Memory.

alt text

  • Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

  • Select Clear System Cache.

alt text

  • When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Note: Clearing the cache temporarily removes previously downloaded game updates. You will be prompted to download these updates again the next time you try to play the games.

Remove the hard drive

If your Xbox 360 console does not have a hard drive you can skip this step.

  • Turn off your console.

  • Remove the hard drive.

For Original Xbox Console:

For Xbox S Console:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2122754

  • Try to play a game disc.

Note: If this resolves the problem, reattach the hard drive and contact Xbox Support to order a replacement hard drive.

Disconnect memory units and USB flash drives

  • Turn off your console.

  • Disconnect any memory units or USB flash drives connected to your console.

  • Turn on your console.
