♥ Love Us:

The keyboard seems to randomly decides to stick so that it is almost impossible to use it...it took me 10min to input my my password for the i-store. What can I do?

This has been happening for several weeks. My iPad2 was purchased in April 2012.

Hi,

Thanks for your question. My name is Rofel and I will assist you with your concern.

As a first step towards resolution, you would need to reset your iPad so that I will refresh the system files in it. To reset the iPad please follow the steps below.

  1. Reset the iPad by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time.

  2. Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.

  3. Wait until the white Apple logo appears.

  4. When this happens, you can let go - the iPad is rebooting.

iPad is basically a small computer. And though it doesn't look like your desktop or laptop, just like those devices, sometimes it needs to be restarted to fix problems.

Let me know if the steps helped you resolve the issue. If it hasn't, we will continue troubleshooting to isolate the problem and resolve it.

Thanks
