Thanks for your response. If the email account that is associated with your Xbox Live Account is closed there's no way that you can reset the password on your end.

What you'll want to do is call the Microsoft Xbox Support number at 1- ***-***-**** or 1-800-4MY-XBOX. Explain the issue with your Xbox Live Account and they will assist you to change the email address and password, you just need to verify some information on the account like the Gamertag, Email Address, etc. for them to verify that you are the owner of the account.
