how and where do I find that info?
You will find the information on the box that cam with your tablet. Some tablets have sticker at the back. Is that a samsung tablet?
all I know is that it is a mid-android. it is white and a 9 inch tablet
May i know where you purchased the tablet? You should have the box with you if it is a brand new tablet and there should be at least sticker at the back of the tablet.
there is a sticker with a scan bar on it. 88014891 there is another number that I can hardly read. it might be cioecud or cloecud
it was purchased from the internet. the sticker on back of tablet has been stamped over.

Turn off the tablet and wait for 5-10 secs. Hold down power button and volume up button and this should take you to the recovery screen. lect wipe factory data reset to restore the tablet to factory default.

Plug in the power adapter and this time try the volume down instead of volume up.
I keep doing that and every time I turn it back on as directed, the on light turns green and that is all that happens. What am I doing wrong?

not exactly. The light is only about 1 - 2 inches from the upper right corner. it has a black dot at top of right corner.

Press settings then the language selection should be the 4 option. Select option 4 and look for English language. See picture below
found it and found english US and touched it. things are now in english

My manager told me that you posted another question about Language issue on your tablet.
Please provide me more information about the problem. I thought that the language problem is already resolved? You mentioned on our conversation on top that 'things are now in english'.
Could you please explain further what's going on? Any particular menu, screens where you are not seeing English language?
