Abe, E-mail. Can't open most attachments doc. docx.
Several; #400 error messages in different places
The system is very slow and sometimes won't move at all. Goes off line often and freezes.
As you can see I'm not very computer literate. Glenna

Thank you for replying and sorry for the delay. A 400 error is a standard email code that indicates a mail message has been deferred and that the sending server should try again later. This may happen due to a server error, special spam filtering deferrals, or a temporary error. May I know the email service provider that you are using please? Are you using Google, Yahoo or a different provider?

Thank you for replying. The 400 Bad Request error is an HTTP status code that means that the request you sent to the website server (e.g. a request to load a web page) was somehow malformed therefore the server was unable to understand or process the request.

I have done some research regarding this matter and found that some Comcast users are reportedly experiencing comcast.net email errors during sign in. Error Code 400 on comcast.net’s email are being displayed during sign in;. The error, apparently code 400, is manifesting itself during sign in to Comcast’s comcast.net email services.

  1. Try a different web browser, to check if you get the same error.
  2. Make sure the password is correct when logging in to the site.
  3. Clear your browser's cache and cookies: Many browser related problems can be fixed by clearing your cache and/or cookies, but it's important to know how each impacts your browser before you delete them.

Your web browser's "Cache" is a place where information is stored which helps webpages load faster. "Cookies" are small pieces of information stored on your computer which save website customization.

    • Clear your cookies to fix - Sign-in problems (not being able to sign-in, not being able to stay signed-in) and error messages about setting user cookies.

    • Keep in mind - Clearing your cookies will delete all website information stored in your browser (passwords, sign-in information, site-specific preferences, etc).

    • Clear your cache to fix - Pages that hang, freeze, don't finish loading, or contain old content, and online applications (like games) that don't respond.

If the steps above does not help fix the problem, this could only point down to an issue on Comcast.

Though it's rare, the 400 Bad Request error could be an issue with the web site's server that you are trying to access. Please contact Comcast Support by calling 1-800-Comcast or chat live HERE with a Comcast care representative.

Please reference error code: 400.
