My ringers won't work (phone, text, email) even though they are on and working when I go into settings. Also, the phone goes directly to voice-mail. This has only been the case for about a week. This is an iPhone 4. Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for your question. My name is Rofel and I will assist you with your concern.
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Thanks
The ringer for the phone does not work and the others probably don't either. I reset all settings as instructed without luck. What else can I try??
Can you please play a music file or access youtube check if you will hear any sound? And if possible please also try to use a headset just for us to determine if this is a problem with the external speakers.
Please also try to reboot the phone by pressing and holding the Home and Power/Sleep button for 10-15 seconds until you see the apple logo. Once done check if you still have the same issue.
I'll be waiting for your response. Thanks
I tried You Tube and the sound was fine (I don't have music files on the phone). Also rebooted the phone. Still no noise when I call the phone. Same issue -- sorry!
Thanks for your response. Did you update the phone to the latest iOS 6? Or any changes made before you experience this issue?
Thanks
No, I've done nothing. This is an iPhone4 so I doubt I'd do much to it. In fact, have never had any problems until now.
Double click the home button, then press and hold the icon until it wiggles. Close all the running apps by pressing the - on the top of the icon, then restart the phone.
Let me know what happen. Thanks
Nothing -- I did what you suggested and it didn't change anything. Oh, in settings, the phone ringer cuts out befor the ringtone is finished.
Hi,
Have you tried restoring the iPhone to factory state and check if you still have the same issue? Restoring the phone to factory will delete all the saved information of your phone but we can backup the files first then proceed with the restore.
Please let me know if you need assistance on performing the restore.
Thanks
I have no idea how to restore and I'm not sure I want to as I had mega problems with my email addresses when I first got the phone. Nor do I know how to back up files on a phone.
Hi,
Here's the procedure on how create a backup
Connect your iOS device to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed
Select your iOS device in iTunes under Devices
Right-click (or Control-click) the device and select Back Up
Once done with the backup click on the Restore Button under Summary Tab.
After the restoration process check if you still have the same issue.
Thanks
Believe it or not, I'm probably the only person who doesn't have, or want iTunes , so I guess I can't do the back-up. Sorry -- I'm just not good at all this.
I understand. I encounter some issue like this before and most of them are caused by hardware issues. The reason why we need to do the restore process is for us to know if this is just a software or a hardware problem on your phone.
Do you want to install iTunes on your computer?
OK we can try that. What do I do?
Please download and Install the Latest iTunes using the link below. Once your done let me know.

OK, I think it's done.
I have to go make dinner and eat now.
Hi,
Let me know once your done so that we can continue this process.
Thanks
Hi,
Can we now continue the process?
Thanks
Yes we can but I can't find the devices on the iTunes site.
Hi,
The device will not appear on the iTunes site it will appear on the program when you connect it to your computer.

If you want to move forward with remote support, I will need a temporary login in order to help you backup and restore you iPhone. You can delete this login after we are through.
