Hi,

Sorry for the late response. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Put your GTA IV Save on your USB
  2. Plug Your USB into your computer
  3. Download and open Horizon <--Click this
  4. Click the USB Icon at the side and find your GTA IV Save
  5. Click Mod and do what you like with it
  6. Rehash and Resign
  7. Close Horizon and plug your USB back into your Xbox
  8. Move the save back over to your hard drive

Hi Rofel
When I try to save the game in (systems settings /games & apps/ list of saved game 668kb each approx).... when I choose one to save, it says I need to configure the usb device and when i try this the xbox says it cant configure the USB device properly and that there may be performance problems even though it is a new one with 4GB on it.
Can you help me to save the game please

Hi,

Sorry for the late response. Please format your USB flash drive using your xbox and once done try to copy the saved files.

Please follow the steps below.

Plug a USB flash drive into a USB port on the front of your console.

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Select USB Storage Device.

Choose Configure Now to format the USB flash drive for Xbox content.

It says the device is ready but has a Performance warning saying does not meet xbox 360 performance recommendations. Then when I try to save the game, there is no option for save only copy/move/delete, so I tried moving it onto USB and it said moving in progress which took about 1 second, so and then i put it in the computer but there was nothing saved on the USB device.

Im following the instructions but dont seem to be getting anywhere
Do you know what im not doing right?

Hi Tina,

It seems that the USB drive does not meet the requirements. Can you please format the USB drive as Fat32 on your computer?

Open Computer - Right click on the USB drive - Format - Select Fat32 then follow the steps that I've provided above.

Thank you, Ive done that and it says format complete, so followed the above and still coming up with performance warning and isnt copying or moving anything on usb, its empty when i put it in computer
do you have any more ideas?

Yes, Ive now configured another one that does meet the requirements....but still nothing going on the usb, it says move in progress but nothing on it when I open it on computer.....obviously not doing something right....what are the exact steps for saving the game onto the usb and see if i can pin point where i am going wrong

Hi i have downloaded horizon and all is good, the only problem I have now is with step 1 (saving from xbox onto usb) any ideas on that? I am following all the steps but must be missing something

  • Select the storage device that contains the content you want to copy.
  • Select the type of content that you want to copy
  • Select the item that you want to copy
  • Select Copy
  • Select the storage device that you want to copy or move the content to

ok done that and i can now see all the 4 attempts we tried before. Thank you, all i need now is where to get the neon lights for the cars as all I am seeing is weapons/armour/ammo and money.....were nearly there now, getting closer all the time.

I believe that the GTA4 mod from Horizon will only mod the weapons/armour/ammo and money.

Some are for PC and some are for XBOX but im not sure if Neon Lights modding are possible for xbox
