Hi,

Thanks for waiting. As a first step towards resolution, you would need to reset your device so that it will refresh the system files in it. To reset the device please follow the steps below.

  1. Reset the device by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time.

  2. Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.

  3. Wait until the white Apple logo appears.

  4. When this happens, you can let go - the device is rebooting.

I Followed instructions...as outline in 1-4 however it is still stuck on the opening gate of deal or no deal . By tapping on the house, it will give me an option to continue game or return to casino. continue...does nothing. return to casino goes to loading and I am right back at the locked gates.
I have over 290,000 tokens accumulated and do not want to loose them..

Thanks for your response. Please follow these steps.

  • Double-click the Home button.
  • Swipe left or right until you have located the GSN Casino app.
  • Swipe the app's preview up to close it.
  • Reset the iPad by pressing an holding the Home and Sleep/Wake button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple Logo
  • Once the iPad is back on the home screen, check if the issue is fixed.

Got answer. however it is still doing the same thing. Not sure what was meant by swipe the app's preview up to close it...tried....may have been wrong? Now what?

Sorry, I can double tap to get to the home page and then slide to find the casino app.....however there does not seem to be a way to swipe it up
off my screen. I have an ipad mini, so I am seeing something different than the image you show as an example. I must be doing something wrong. After all this time we are still at the same spot trying to fix my first problem. Plus I have two more..... Guess you had better cancel my 7 day free trial,, I do not want to have to pay for this later on when it has unfortunately not helped my problem. Sure it is not your fault. Thanks for your time and efforts..

You need to tap the Home button twice not the home screen. The Home button is the Circle Button at the center of your iPad. After you tap it twice you will see the page where you can swipe up the application to close it.

I did tap the home button twice (not the home screen) I can slide over to see all my apps...the only way I know how to get rid of something is to tap on it and it will begin to shake and have an x in one corner ...tap on that and it will go away........is that what you are talking about? But, then you know I will surely lose all of my 290,000 plus tokens I have accumulated.....right? not fair......

Thanks for your response and sorry for the delay. Yes that's what im referring to. If you tap the X on the app it will just close the App and will not lose the 290,000 tokens.

But when you tap the x a little window comes up saying....delete gsn casino....... deleting gsn casino will also delete all of its data........ delete or cancel...doesn't that mean my app will be completely gone along with my tokens??? I have gotten rid of other apps like that when I did not want them anymore,,
and they are gone.......unless I start all over... as a new app

Please tap cancel and follow these steps.

  • Double Tap the Home Button
  • You will see the multitasking bar at the bottom
  • Tap and Hold the GSN Casino
  • You will see a - (minus) on the top
  • Tap the - sign to close the App
  • Open the GSN Casino and check if the issue is fixed

Mercy this getting difficult......for both of us.....o.k. multi tasking bar at the bottom consist of messages, mail, safari and music icons...right? tap and hold gsn casino I get the x and the shaking .... no minus sign anywhere at the top...now what.

The multitasking bar shows the running application on the backgound of your iPad. The minus sign will appear after you tap and hold the application.

Sorry my ipad image does not look like yours. I have a page that has icons on it for facetime, calendar, photos, camera, contacts, clock, maps,
videos, notes, reminders, photo booth, game center, newsstand,iTunes store, app store, and settings. it came with these. on the next slide over page I have the apps that I have applied for. ... it does not do what you say it will. I still can only get the x and the shaking of all the apps whenever I tap on any one of them.....sorry.... what now. we have been at this since shortly after 4 o'clock. nothing seems to work for me.
I love my ipad and the apps I have chosen, especially this gsn casino.... I am so disappointed that the deal or no deal part of it has frozen up o n me and we cannot get it to work. Strange that all the rest of that app works.... I am ready to quit trying..... how about ;you.

Can you please tell me what happen when you tap the Home button twice? The page that you are referring to with the apps like Facetime, calendar, photos, etc. is your Home Screen. When you double tap the Home button your should see the list the icons at the bottom that are running on your iPad.

If you see the X mark it means that you are pressing the icon on the Home screen not the icons on the Multitask bar.

Yes when I double tap the home button I see the icons at the bottom as well as a picture of what is going on in that app. o.k. still no minus signs....on the gsn casino "picture" it shows the locked gates...when I tap on the icon it will open up and guess what the gates are still locked.
after 6 hours of this, I am very tired.....when do we stop and or get this fixed for sure....one more time then we will stop and wait until tomorrow.......,..wondering what you must think of my ability to do anything by this time......believe it or not I am considered an intelligent person in many aspects. however, I suppose this ipad solving problems is all very new to me. and none of it seems to work

Thanks for your response. If you see the icons at the bottom and the picture of the App. Please swipe the GSN Casino upward to remove it on the screen. Once it it removed please open it and check if the issue is fixed.

If this will not fix the issue we may need to delete and remove it on your iPad. However there's no guarantee that you will still have the 290,000 token after we reinstall it. It will depends if the application have a restore purchase feature.

Please let me know what happen.

Sorry , it will not swipe up and or remove or show me a minus I suppose I will have to check in the morning. If it still will not work, I will have to delete it and reinstall it. How will I know if this application has a restore purchase feature.......Purchase???? I do not plan on buying these tokens back

Well, I finally found out how to swipe up..to get an app to close ,some one had to show me.... I kept trying to swipe up the icon.
However before I learned this, I just decided to delete the whole thing and reinstall it. Then...another mistake....unfortunately I registered instead of trying to sign on again as a guest. So, needless to say I lost all my tokens and now can't get it back the way it was.
Anyway thank you for all your help and patience with me. I certainly appreciate it. It would have saved both of us a lot of time if we could have done it all over the phone. Thanks again. Earline

I never have seen that green answer button on my computer....sorry..
I had hoped that I could go back to playing as a guest, but guess not.

Another problem I have ever since I got this ipad mini is that my email all comes in just great, but I cannot send any out. My computer guy checked it all out and finds no reason why it will not send out.

No green button, just black print that states accept answer.....I clicked on that, it does nothing....hope it works for you to get credit.

Thanks for you response. Can you please reboot your iPad by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple logo? One the iPad is back on the home screen please try to send a test message to yourself and check if you will get an error.

I went back and did all of those things again. and it is all right, even put the password back in to make sure. Still get the same answer. Don't understand why it comes in on ipad, but will not go out....but email comes in and goes out just fine on computer. I thought about totally changing my password, but have not done that yet. I think I may have too weak a signal here. Someone told me, they had that same problem, would not go out, but if they went down the block and across the street it would work. Go figure. Don't know what else to do. I received an email that my 7 day trial will be over on Monday. So, if I do not get any further response from you....Thanks so much for your help.

Hi,
Yes, I have always been able to get emails on my ipad, note last reply, the same as on my computer, but it will not send them out on my ipad.......they go out o.k. on computer. Makes no sense.....like I said before... too weak a signal??? Wonder if has any thing to do with safari being on my ipad/
