Is the issue happening on all inputs? Netflix is a different access same goes in using dvd players etc. The sound will depends on how the sound was decoded. If the sound was decoded poorly during the video was created then what you will get on that video is a low sound quality.

I don't have a DVD player connected to the cable box or TV. Netflix is the only outside movie input I have used. It is the same on all movies I play from Netflix. Is there some way to set the audio volume on Netflix?
