A Friend has given me his old I-phone. I have set up an I-Tunes account with my own Apple ID and password but when I try to purchase an APP, the phone defaults to his Apple ID and asks for his pass word. It will not allow me to enter my Apple ID. How can I change this so I can buy APPS?

Hi Robert,

Please try the steps provided below.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Then scroll down then choose iTunes & App Store.
  3. Then if the Apple ID showing there is not yours, log it out by tap the Apple ID.
  4. Tap "Sign Out" then tap the Apple ID field again & sign in with your Apple ID name & password.
