"Thank you for waiting. As a first step towards resolution, you would need to reset your device so that it will refresh the system files in it. To reset the device please follow the steps below.

  1. Reset the device by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button at the bottom centre of the face at the same time.
  2. Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.
  3. Wait until the white Apple logo appears.
  4. When this happens, you can let go - the device is rebooting.

After the device reboots, connect again to your BT Hub and let me know what happens.

restarted Ok , but when tried to connect to my hub, same message appears - unable to join the network "BTHub3-XNZW" - with blue 'dismiss' underneath this message

Thank you for the information. The error message sometimes is caused by an incorrect password saved on the device. Do you know the correct password to login to the BT hub? Does the ipad ask you for the password when trying to connect? IPad does not ask for password

If it doesnt ask for a password, it may have saved the incorrect details and thats why it is saying Unable to connect. You can go to Settings > Select the circle with an i beside BTHub3-XNZW > Select Forget this Network.

After forgetting the Network, Sign in again and re enter the correct password this time. Let me know what happens.

Have gone through forget this network, and then signed using the hub password. Same unable to connect message appears. Is it the hub password that is required?
