I just love taxes, and love helping other solve their tax problems. I worked for TurboTax for four tax seasons and was one of their top ranked tax professionals in their "Ask a Tax Professional" online program. I am happy to use those skills to efficiently help you fix your TurboTax problems. In addition, I am here to answer other tax questions, particularly tax problems that come up. Liens, Levies, Installment Agreements, Offers in Compromise, Penalties, I can fix all of them. Here's the rest of my resume: Education: Bachelor of Science from M.I.T. (1984)Master of Science in Taxation (with distinction) from Bentley University (1995)Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute Current Licenses: IRS Enrolled Agent (20+ years), Licensed Massachusetts Property Tax Assessor (CMR 58.3.1), Licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court, less than 300 people have passed this very difficult examination. Previous Licenses: NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator, State Commissioner of Banking approved mortgage branch manager, Securities Series 7, 6, 63, 65 licenses, Life/Health Insurance Producer Professional: In private practice. Practice includes both general tax preparation with problem resolution, expatriates, state and local (SALT) and a large amount of representation. I have successfully represented $500 million corporations before state tax tribunals as well as assisted numerous individuals in resolving their state and IRS tax problems. My professional approach is tailored to the individual situation at hand. Always probing IRS procedural avenues to find new paths to tax practice and procedure. Engaged to write and review questions for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination – Part III, Practice and Procedure Moderate LinkedIn Group, Enrolled Agents, with over 2,000 members. Formed the Massachusetts Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, Inc. and received start up funding from the IRS LITC program. (1999) Political: Elected municipal and county official (1998 to 2012). Have served as a Planning Board member, County Charter Commission Chairman and Board of Property Tax Assessors. As a member of the Tax Assessors, I have successfully represented the municipality before the state appellate tax board. I view this role as my opportunity to see things from the “taxing authority’s point of view”. As a municipal and county elected official, have also served on and chaired numerous boards. Previously appointed by the NAEA Presidents to serve on the national Bylaws Committee and to the Government Relations Committee.
