My problem is that I need an ASP table of variable lenght (1 -> 20,000 rows) to present results of search in a FileMaker Pro database. I want each other row to alternate color, ie row 1 aqua background, row 2 the page's background color, row 3 aqua background, row 4 the page's background color and so on. I got the following hint: An ASP genererated table, use style sheet for colors and the reference CSS class for each. I am not knowledgeable in ASP. I signed in to an online course day before yesterday and I just don't succeed in doing that table. Any hint? Possible any exempel code? TIA, Clau

While this article's focus is not on your issue, it does display an example of how you can alternate the colors from one row to another using ASP. http://www.asptoday.com/articles/19990803.htm Regards, Matthew Pomar m**r@aspsites.com
