yesterday i installed oracle.i am new learner.after i created a few table in sql.i went to forms builder and when i was trying to connect to the database to browse thru the table i was not able to do it. i got a message ORA-12203 unable to connect to destination. please help as i am desperate to learn

hi rita, this can be due to the listner.ora file not configured properly. pls mail me the version of -oracle -developer -details of OS etc and hopefully i'll help you get going. kaustav k**v@ibirbal.com

yet another solution may be that you just try to connect using the username and password only. leave the database name / server field blank and see if it helps.
