We are developing an application that needs to access objects located on a server other than the web server. Some details - we are using IIS 4.0 on NT 4.0, the object being referenced is in a VB6.0 DLL on the application server. The ASP uses the standard "Server.CreateObject("class.string")". I seem to have read somewhere that the DCOMCONFG utility can be used to tell the web server where to look for the class object, but as of yet I am unable to get this to work. We are *not* using MTS in this situation, but if I can be convinced otherwise, I will use it. Thanks Tim Smith Senior Application/Solution Developer Tetley USA, Inc. Shelton, CT
