One of our servers crashed. It is back up now and all seems ok except that every time we reboot we get an error message in the WinNT error log saying that the SQL 6.5 snmp agent start message is corrupt. Any thoughts or ideas on how to get rid of the message and its cause.

Upgrade to SQL Server 7.0? Or search Microsoft's website for the answer. You can usually search their Knowledge Base (http://search.microsoft.com) with the error message from the event viewer to find a resolution. Regards, Matthew Pomar
