I have been working with the book Beginning ASP 2.o from Wrox press and I'm having problems. I I have not been able to get the examples to work..using your code!..following your instructions to the letter! The DSN-less connection strings don't WORK!. Further I got your book Begining ASP databases and you mention something that wasn't mentioned in beginning ASP. That is the connection string line should all be on one line in the DataStore.inc file. I refer you to page 411 of Beginning ASP and 196 of Beginning ASP databases its never mentioned in Beginning ASP. This is the error I get Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005' [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Could not find file '(unknown)'. /BegASP/Find.asp, line 19 I have tried changing it to one line but the code does not find the file. I put the DataStore.inc file as instructed on page 413 of Beginning ASP in the Inetpup\wwwroot\BegASP....and it still does not WORK! You may want to rewrite these chapeters of Beginning ASP or make sure the code works before somebody else such as myself looses all their hair and santity. Problem on Fields example. The ASP code cannot find these file! As I said before I put them in the directory exactly as instructed! Remember I'm using your code, exactly as downloaded and following all the instuctions. After all of this the big proplem seems to be with the include files. So can somebody please tell me how to fix this problem?
