I try ti connect to a database in dev. 2000 forms and as soon as I enter all the information and try to connect, I get Forms shuts down...all the info (DB info, username, pwd, service) is correct...I the database is local on my computer (NT server Platform) Can anyone help?

Developer 2000 isn't a stand-alone, get Oracle Lite, install it and then try....username is SYSTEM and connectivity is ODBC:POLITE, you don't need a password

thanks Rob, I doo have oracle 8 enterprise running on my computer though (NT 4 server with the plus pack).
