If you're getting invalid password errors when you update your accounts, the Password Vault may contain incorrect information. The best way to correct this is to recreate the Password Vault. In order to recreate the Password Vault, you need to print a record of the stored passwords, delete the Password Vault and then create it again.
Print the Password Vault
If you're not sure what your passwords are, you can print the Password Vault to see the passwords that are stored.
Delete/Reset the Password Vault
Deleting/Resetting the vault will delete all the credentials stored in the vault and new vault will be created with the custom password that you enter.
Create the Password Vault

Dear Helen, It was a pleasure helping you with your Quicken issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified: Quicken would not open at all when clicking on the icon on dekstop to run the program.
Solution Implemented: I called and remotely accessed computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled Quicken 2016 software. The software is launching correctly now and shows customer's account. Problem solved.
