That's great to hear... As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for 5 minutes before reconnecting it. Start the engine and try to  check if the heat will blow evenly.

i get heat when a/c is on.  i don't know if that is important?

If reconnecting the battery doesn't resolve the issue then the problem here will surely be the blend door actuator. This do fail over time and the result will be uneven distribution of heat on either side.

Picture below is the part that will need replacement

This will cost $50 at least. Once replaced you'll be good.

Ok, the actuator is located  underneat the dash. Here's a video on how to access it. Please click on the blue link named ACURA blend door actuator removal below.

Dear Leonard, It was a pleasure helping you with your Acura issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.

Issue identified : Uneven distribution of heat on vent
Solution Implemented : Resetting procedure but to no avail. Blend door actuator will need replacement.

thank you. i am am combat disabled veteran. i have nerve damage and have problems using hands.  i have to do this myself because i can not afford to pay someone to do it.  i would like to give tip. you deserve it, but as you know disabled vet live just above the poverty level. accept my heartfelt thank you!!!!
