James, As you stated that you have purchased HTC HD2 from UAE it is obvious that Windows have recommended a separate OS for Arab countries with Arabic as default language and hence the default apps will always be displayed in Arabic language. To get rid of this I would like to suggest that you should check for a new Windows OS firmware (for US) from HTC website or take your phone to the HTC service center. I hope you get it. Thank you!
