I see, we are talking about the ac vents Charles just to be sure we are on the same page

Thank you for your response Charles. This issue will be caused by a failing blend door actuator. It can be intermittent but eventually it will fail. If it does fail it must be replaced, picture is shown below and will cost $50 at least. Next time it fails try disconnecting the negative battery connector and let it sit for 5 minutes before reconnecting it to reset the system.

Is there anything else I can add or help you with Charles? I'll be standing by for your response.

Tell where this actuator is located and how difficult to replace.

Please click the blue BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR link below Charles for the location. You will need to pull down the dash to access it. It is not that easy but doable.

Did you see the location on the picture Charles? I'll be standing by for your response. Thank you

Are you sure it is not behind the glove compartment?

You may want to pull down the glove compartment as well and check number 8 on the picture Charles just to be sure

Those are the locations of the blend door actuators. If it fails try to remove the negative battery connector and let it sit for 5 minutes before reconnecting it. Sometimes you just need to flush the current for it to work again.

Customer

Okay. Thanks
