Thank you. This MacBook you are using. Is this the one that you can remove the battery? If yes, can you try to remove the battery and then plug the power adapter and then do not insert back the battery while the power adapter is connected and then power it on. And check what will be the result.

Customer

The battery normally causing this issue. Try to replace the battery. If you still don't have a new battery try to use the MacBook without the battery. Is there anything else? Did I help your with your issue?

Posted
Customer

It did help but now my power adapter is not showing that it is working and I am losing power even though it is plugged in

Posted
Customer

Should I just take out the battery and then hopefully the power adapter will work?

Posted
Customer

so the green light on the cord that connects to the usb port and of course the power adapter is not on.  Is that still ok once I take out the battery?

Posted
