Green screens are caused by loose cables or bad cables.

  • If you only have the aerial cable  (coaxial cable) plugged in then try removing it and see if that makes any difference.
  • Also try unplugging the power cable and then plugging it back in after 10 minutes. This will complete a power reset and may help to resolve the issue.
  • Make sure all the cables connected to are connecte securely on both ends  and/or try changing all the cables for ones that you know work if still the same.

Issue identified : Green Tint Display problem  

Solution Implemented : Call customer |  check cable connection| unplug /replug all video cables from receiver and TV| same problem| check menu box if the same problem |NO| advise customer to try changing the HDMI cable connected |

Solution Implemented : Call customer |  check cable connection| unplug /replug all video cables from receiver and TV| same problem| check menu box if the same problem |color normal | screen is a lot clearer/brighter but sill greenish after reseating the cable |  advise customer to try changing the cable connected to the TV > Receiver |if after changing the cable and still the same problem advice customer to have the TV repaired |provide sears repair shop number|accepted answer
