To register your Kindle do the following steps:

First it must be connected to your WiFi for internet access: 

To register your Kindle from your device:

From the Home screen, tap the Quick Settings icon.
Tap the More icon, then My Account.
Tap the Register button.
Enter the email and password of your Amazon account.

Once registered you will have instant access to all of your books through archives.
