I have an Alienware 15. On Startup, the first message is "Preparing automatic repair", Next message "Diagnosing your PC, Next message "Repairing Disc Errors. This may take over an hour. Then it restarts and keeps going through this same loop.

Hi Gary,

Try to reset the machine first by unplugging the power adapter from the wall. Press and hold down the power button for 20 secs. Turn on the machine and check the issue again.

It Restarted and it is going through the same cycle.

ok.. looks like that hte software is already corrupted. You have to restore the computer back to the factory default. Note that restoring the computer will wiped out everything.

Are you using windows 10?
