I have been writing a book with Dragon 6 for Mac. Last it stopped working. I t asked to Nuance but got diverted to a spam trap. She said it would be $300 to repair. I called AppleCare and talked an hour, no answer. The program cannot be shut down and I need this to reinstall.HELP

Ferdinand, There is not a number on the disc. I wonder if this is a knockoff. Thanks for your prompt reply.

I see, Anyway,

I want to offer you our Remote support option for $20 onetime. 

this will let me remote to the computer, I can check and see if The problem you have can be reverted.

should we go for remote then?

Dear John, It was a pleasure helping you with your issue Dragon (Nuance) today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : Dragon app not working
Solution Implemented : 

Call customer / Remote access

Checked and verified the Mic is plugged in

Reset the Dragon app by force closing it and restarting the PC

Launch Dragon app

Loaded customer's profile

Tested app and now it is working and typing everyworkd said to the computer.

Issue resolved
