Thanks for waiting. Im here to help. May I know what exactly do you see on the Kindle screen? Is it a page of a book or you are on the setup screen?

Part of the setup screen.  Then there is a square box superimposing that screen that says 'You've turned your first page,  To contunue reading, tap on the right side of the screen to turn to the next page.  Tap left on the left side of the screen to go back.  I cannot get rid of this square with the forward arrow or X close icon.

Thanks for your response. Please reboot your Kindle by pressing and holding the power button by 20-30 seconds until you see the Amazon/Kindle Screen. Wait for a few seconds and check if the Kindle will works correctly.

Oh, brother, my problem in getting registered is getting on my Network but I cannot remember my password.  I do not see anywhere I set up a new password
