I recently purchased a Panasonic 4 handset telephone system, (Model No. KX-TGEA40) very similar to one I previously had. I was able to set everything up with the exception of the ability to hear people leaving messages. They automatically go to “voicemail via Phone Co.” which I must access to retrieve my messages. The instructions indicate something about hitting “Group Only” on the menu, but I can’t find that anywhere! HELP!! I also don’t think it’s fair to purchase a new item and not be able to get assistance from the manufacturer, but rather have to go to a third party and pay for help! I’m an almost 70 year old grandmother living on Social Security Disability with a very limited income and must watch every penny I spend! I hope this won’t cost me too much as I have medication I need to pick up at the pharmacy. Thank you!

The message about voicemail via Phone Co. is normal.
This info is from the Phones Manual -
When you try to play the voicemail, Are you still pressing some Access numbers?
