No I got step 1 when it came up in Spanis i tried to go back but the remote will not let me go back

OK. Turn the TV off. Unplug it from the power outlet .Hold down the power button of the tv (mostly loctaed on the side of the TV) while unplugged.

Still on step 2, back button on the remote still does not take me back to the original start screen

If you'll press the Menu button on your TV remote will it bring up the menu window?

No, it is locked at step 2....Question.  If I go ahead and complete in Spanis is there a way later to go to English?

Yes. By going into Menu> System> Menu Language>English

OK....So it is ok if I finish set yp and then go to menu and find english as you outline below?  I will proceed....Will send another response if I encounter more trouble.

Yes or look fora wrench or a gear icon as it will be the settings where you'll have an option to change the language
