Hello Margaret... good to hear back from you. There's a possibility that you have a double entry on your phone list that's why it shows his caller id. It's possible that your daughter's call forwarding number is set to your sons that's why it goes to him when she is not available

They are always off.

Ok Margaret. Please try this. Remove the battery of the handset and unplug the base from the power source. After 3 minutes, please put the battery back in and plug the base to the power source. Try calling your daughter and see if it will go through hers. I'll be standing by

The call went to her answering machine, then I called my son, and he answered his phone, so hopefully it's fixed.
