Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. My name is Mario and I am here to help you resolve your smartphone issues. Are you syncing with a smartphone? When items are deleted from the phone, the sync process deletes these thems from Outlook.

I am here waiting for your respond.

Thank you,
Mario

I DON'T want the Blackberry smartphone or Outlook to delete old appointments. I want to keep all appointments until I manually delete them. I have already gone into the Options on Calender and specified Forever on Keep Appointments, but the sync process still wants to delete everything over 60 days. What can I do yo keep all old appointments in Calendar?

Please follow these steps to prevent deleting old appointments while syncing:

  1. Make sure you have backed up everything.
  2. Open the Blackberry Desktop Manager and go to Synchronize.
  3. On the left side of the screen, click on Synchronization.
  4. Click on Reset configuration.
  5. Once it is reset, configure your calendar again to the two-way sync and it shouldn't erase prior events from either your device or from Outlook.

Please let me know the results or if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Mario
