The Skype app needs MACOSX 10.9 to work. You MAC OSX is 10.8 and it cannot hold latest vversion of the OSX anymore.

Dear Sidney, It was a pleasure helping you with your Tech- Skype issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : cx want to access skyep on his MAC computer
Solution Implemented : called cx and accessed his computer. found out that the MAC OSX operating system is old and cannot installed skype on the machine. Skype needs OSX 9 or higher and the computer cx is just OSX 8. cx will just buy a new camera on the other computer (windows). Answer accepted.
