Thanks for your response. May I know what exactly do you see on your iPhone screen? Is it asking you for the Apple ID and password to activate it?
this is where if gets confusing. I purchased my 7 and forgot the password, so my new phone went into recovery. But my impatient self created a new apple id, and now i lost at what to do. My new phone is asking me for the apple id and password associated with this account.
On the activation page screen it shows you a hint of the Apple ID like this (e*****@g*****.com). Can you please check and let me know if the Apple ID shows as the old or the new one?
it states, Activation Lock, This iphone is linked to an Apple ID. Enter the apple id and password that were used to set up this iphone.

Thats what has stopped me today, i have no idea whose numbers these are. I had 2 on my 6 plus, but not those new ones
Are you sure this is your Apple ID s**a@icloud.com?
I was using the name sophia, so i suppose thats correct, i was traveling and stopped and wasn't sure if i had completed the set up
It doesnt mean that if you are using the name sophia that's your Apple ID. Because the number that show isn't your number. Can you think of what Apple ID that you have create that starts with S?

Called the customer / We were able to recover the Apple ID but it is connected to the iPhone 7 and customer is unable to receive the SMS / Customer wants to continue the TS tomorrow 11AM EST
