As I understand, you've restored your phone from an old backup file and by backing up your phone after the restore, you just backed up the same old backup file.
What I need to know now is if you have a back up files a little older than today, maybe within the week of April 08 to 13?

Is it even possible to regain the phone to before the back up?
It will only be possible if you were able to backup the phone right before the restore. Do you use Itunes to backup?
yes, I did not back up my phone before the restore.
OK. Do you know what is the last backup date you had on Itunes?
I believe it was over a year ago when i bought the 6S. The back up was from my I phone 4 for my personal information.
I think this may be useless effort for restoration of the phone
I'm sorry but If there's no recent backup from April 08 to 13 from the itunes then it will not be possible to restore your phone from those dates or from even yesterday. It restoration will only be applicable if you were able to backup the phone right before the restore.
