Find the screws that hold the to of the case to the chassis. They should be on the bottom, and back. Once they're removed, gently pull the top off. You may have to fish under the carousel to get the CD, but if you're gentle, you should be okay. Make  sure the power's unplugged, and keep your tools away from the power supply

I have turned it over and seen the screws. I found the DX-C Service Manual on line and printed it.  I'll try it. It will take me a little bit.

I got the top off and was able to rescue the CD.  I put the screws back, except for the ones on the bottom and plugged it in and the CD drawer went back in. I have unplugged it again, will turn it over the put the rest of the screws back and then try playing it.
