If the player is shutting down automatically it means that ist having an overheating problem inside its system. May I know how old is the player? 

Ok.Its seems  that its already our of warranty for the bluray player and it wil be needing a  service repair to get the part replaced to gey it working ok. A fuse or mainbaord need a replacement if the power board if is integrated to the mainboard.

The price of repair would be costly that it cost almost a new player so  i would recommend to have it replaced since warranty is already expired too.
