I clicked a like on a web page link to a class advert accidentally. It showed a like because the number changed. I do not have Facebook. I am hoping none of my details were sent regarding clicking the like. Can you please advise would any of my details be sent or not? If so what would be received by the person who has the post on their website i accidentally clicked like on? I hope not my email address?

So I can call you? I checked the website and it is a legit website? It is a Yoga website.  Where did you saw the like button?

Customer

Thank you, the like button is on the COURSE option page, then go to view for the course, at the bottom is the like symbol.

Yes correct Rofel, where you see View Event I clicked, then down the bottom it said Like, this is where I clicked Like accidently.

To confirm I have no Facebook account and am hoping none of my details have gone with the accidental click on the Like, no email address or anything else.

Thanks for your response. You dont need to worry because no information or details was sent to the website. The like button is just a counter on the webiste that shows how many visitor or clients like their page or service.

Is there anything else I can assist you with?

Hi Rofel, thank you that is a great felief to me ,

How can you tell its a counter only and no email address of mine was sent?

If I had been on Fecebook would it have been different?

Will there be a reference to our communication here when I log on to my customer profile incase I need to reference this advice?

Yes. You can open this link from your email. When you posted the question you received an email from Support. The like button is a social plugin and it doesnt get any information from the person who liked it.

On facebook it is different because you need a Facebook account to like the page.
